Each team member attends our special driver training school so that they have the detailed knowledge, skills and experience to ensure your sofa is delivered with minimum hassle and inconvenience to you, ensuring that the most difficult part of buying your sofa is picking out which one you want!

We’re the only UK furniture retailer to keep a high level of stock to ensure that we can get many of our products to you quickly and in the case of some products, immediately. This means your new sofa could be in your home in as little as 72 hours and you can get on with welcoming your new furniture into its new home.
We deliver on our promise
We only use our own fleet of vehicles and highly trained installation teams to deliver your new sofa into your home.
Delivery of large, awkwardly shaped sofas into some homes can be extremely difficult. To make the delivery of your sofa go smoothly, we run a special training centre for our installation teams to ensure that they’re trained to highest possible standards.
We control the training and quality of service that you receive and we never use untrained sub contractors so you can rest easy knowing that only our stringently tested installation teams will be delivering your new furniture.
Free Delivery
We deliver free of charge within a 50 mile radius of any of our CSL superstores
If you live within a 50 mile radius of the store you purchase from or any other CSL store, we will deliver your furniture free of charge if your order is £500 or more.
Unlike many other companies, we’ll fully install your new sofa into your chosen room as part of our free delivery service and we’ll even take away all the excess packaging, meaning you don’t have to spend time clearing up after us – how’s that for customer service?
Do you need Saturday Delivery?
We know that a Monday to Friday delivery isn’t always convenient for those with busy lives, so now you can specifically request a Saturday delivery. This service does carry a small charge and we can't offer delivery every Saturday, but we'll try our best to accommodate your needs. Ask in store for more details.
What if I live over 50 miles away?
If you live between 50 and 75 miles from any store, we charge a nominal fee of £65. This charge is to cover the reduced delivery capacity for the vehicle on the day, the fuel costs and the extra time incurred by the vehicle and installation teams. Saturday deliveries will also be charged an additional fee.
We’re a regional business and in order to keep service levels up to our very high standards, we don’t deliver to distances in excess of 75 miles from any of our stores. We feel that we can only offer a high level of service and customer experience by using our own teams and this limits our trading distance. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Delivery Services
We will extend our maximum delivery radius when bulk orders are placed. We can deliver and service commercial orders across the UK mainland but a minimum order of £12,000 has to be placed.
Collection options
Of course, if you’d like to collection your furniture from our distribution centre in Golborne near Wigan, then we’ll be more than happy to arrange this for you.
Removal of your old sofa
If you have any old sofas and chairs that you need to get rid of before your new CSL one arrives, then there are a couple of options available to you.
We recommend that you get in touch with your local council who will normally remove your old furniture free of charge – this is the easiest and cheapest option for most of our customers. This service should be currently operating in all the areas we deliver – a quick phone call to your local council will confirm this.
As an extra service, we’ll happily remove your old furniture for a small fee of £39.95. The charge goes to contributing towards the cost of disposing of your old furniture only and all other costs involved are subsidised by CSL, as we view this as an added value service.
Delivery quotations
When you order your sofa from CSL, the delivery time you’ll be quoted is dependent on the supplier lead time combined with whether the chosen items are part of our ‘quickstock’ program - we update our systems daily with lead times from our suppliers and have constant access to the latest data through our computerised tablets.
We currently deliver in excess of 92% of the furniture ordered well within quoted delivery times and we’ll always try to over-estimate rather than underestimate the time frame until your sofa arrives to disappointing our customers.
