When our original order arrived, the Manager of the Southport branch (Kevin) was so helpful and called at our home to help us with a problem regarding the unclipping of various parts of our suite. This was most reassuring as so often once an item is sold to a customer, firms lose interest and after sales help of this nature is indeed rare, but greatly appreciated. On dealing with our reorder it was necessary to discuss matters on the telephone a number of times and Vic ky, Jenny and Laura were very helpful indeed. I write to you personally a short letter regarding my experience as a customer of CSL. Last year I chose a leather suite from your range at the Manchester Store and put a deposit down to secure the suite, however due to personal circumstances……….I could not have the suite delivered straight away. I have now received my suite, which was delivered by your excellent delivery drivers and I would like to tell you about one person in particular, a Mr Andy Barlow (Delivery) who has been first class in all communications I have had with your company during what for me personally has been a year I wish to forget.

 

I am sure you realise the general public are quick to complain and not as quick to compliment, however I have been so impressed with your company and in particular, Mr Barlow, that I decided to put pen to paper. I will recommend your company to family / friends and you have a company with staff you should be very proud of. Thank you for your support during this time, you have a customer for life.

A short note to compliment you on your excellent service.

 

My wife and I bought a sofa and chair from your Reebok, Bolton branch. The gentleman to whom we spoke was helpful and informative without being a typical ‘pushy’ salesman. He answered our questions honestly and knowledgably and was by far the most useful source of information we had contacted. Proposed delivery date ‘slipped’ a couple of weeks but that was not important.

 

We were contacted by your extremely helpful delivery department and fixed a date. Unfortunately this proved to be inconvenient, but a quick call soon altered it with absolutely no hassle.

 

When the units arrived – on the promised day – I was impressed by the care that was taken by the two gentlemen (and I use the term advisedly) who delivered it. It was so well packed that there was very little possibility of transit damage, but they insisted that we carefully examine the goods before signing and ensured that they were exactly where we wanted them to be as the suite was so heavy. Two very good ambassadors for your company.

 

We look forward to long service from this well-built furniture but should we need more upholstery in the future, your company will be top of our list and we would not hesitate to recommend you to our friends and family.

I am writing to say a huge thank you to your customer services department.
I have never dealt with such competent, helpful & polite staff.

I purchased a beautiful suite from yourselves in December 2005. The staff in your showroom were wonderful, they let us browse uninterrupted, but were there when we needed assistance. They also did not promise things that they could not deliver & then make excuses.

We have had to have two technicians out to the suite, one thing was cosmetic, a few stitches had come undone. The gentleman who came was here for around an hour & did a wonderful job, you cannot tell where the repair has been done!

Recently, my son knelt on one of the sofas & we heard a cracking sound & the seat dipped. i rang your customer services & spoke to a very polite, pleasant lady called Laura, she made an appointment for a technician to come round. With having children I had to specify that I would not be available during school run times & this was taken into account. There was no waiting in for no one to turn up, which I have experienced from other companies. Dermot, the technician rang around 15 mins before he arrived & was also polite & courteous. Although the problem could not be fixed straight away, he left explaining exactly what had happened to the sofa & why & a further appointment for next week to repair the fault would be made via your customer services.

I cannot stress enough what wonderful personnel you have, from the shop floor up.

Thought I’d write to let you know about the service I received recently from CSL.

 

You probably get a lot of negative feedback from customers, but my feedback is full of praise for your customer satisfaction. I don’t currently have a local CSL store anymore and I was worried about having to do an 80 mile round trip to Liverpool to purchase a cleaning kit every couple of months. After sending an email to your customer service section, you agreed that you would send a kit out to me free of charge and that I could email next time I needed one.

 

Makes a change having a company actually help a customer out! Well done.

Just got my fab new sofa delivered yesterday as promised and just had to drop you a quick e-mail about the great service. Firstly, I live on a cul-de-sac and there are some rather dozy people who don't think about where they park and it can be difficult for cars to get through let alone a lorry! Nevertheless, your driver not only drove up but then REVERSED back down the road- great stuff! The whole road was watching.

 

Secondly the two blokes were very friendly despite the cold and wet weather and my old sofa was removed with the minimum of fuss and the new one put in very quickly. They made sure I was happy with everything before they left. I wish I had remembered to ask their names, as they were very dedicated about their work and the company too. Hopefully you will be able to work out who they both are from my address.

 

Lastly, CSL offered free delivery and a small £15 fee to remove my old sofa. My brother purchased his sofa from Furniture Village who charged £35 for delivery and £35 for taking his old sofa away! So great stuff CSL.
