CSL Delivery services

 

CSL use only our own fleet of vehicles and installation teams to deliver to your home. This means that we control the training and quality of service that you receive. It also means that we understand the difficulty of installing large sofas into most homes and that untrained people coming into your home to do this difficult task is not an option.

 

Free of charge within a 50 mile radius

CSL deliver all furniture orders of a value over £500 FREE of charge to within a 50 mile radius of any of our stores. Buy your furniture from any CSL store and if you live within 50 miles of that or any other CSL store your delivery will be completely FREE.

 

As part of this service and unlike many other companies, CSL will install your new sofa into the room of your choice, assemble any features that require it and leave your home taking away all redundant packaging.

 

Over 50 miles (and orders under£500)

If you live between 50 and 75 miles from any store, we charge a nominal fee of £65 for your longer distance delivery. This is a simple charge to cover the reduced delivery capacity for the vehicle on the day of delivery, together with the fuel and time incurred by the vehicle and installation teams.

 

75 mile delivery radius

 

As a regional business and in order to keep service levels up to our very high standards, CSL do not currently operate delivery services to distances in excess of 75 miles from any store. We appologise for any inconvenience that this may cause but feel that we can only offer the required level of service and customer experience by using our own teams and as such do limit our trading distance. 

 

Bulk order exceptions

Our maximum delivery radius will be extended where orders are placed in bulk. We can deliver and service commercial orders accross the UK mainland but currently stipulate a minimum order value of £12,000.

 

Collection option

Of course, if you can arrange collection of your furniture from our distribution centre in Golborne near Wigan, we will be happy to supply your new sofas. This option may be subject to return-to-base after sales service.

Removal of your old sofa

If you have an old sofa or sofas and chairs to dispose of then there are several options open to you :

 

  • Your local council will normally remove your old furniture FREE OF CHARGE after a simple telephone call to them. We believe this service to be currently operating in all areas to which we deliver and as such recommend it as the easiest and cheapest option.
  • As an extra service, CSL will happily remove your old furniture for a fee of £49. This is to contribute towards the cost of disposal only and is subsidised by CSL as an value added service.
      

Delivery quotations

At CSL the time quoted for delivery will be dependant on the supplier lead time at the time of ordering together with whether the items chosen are part of our "quickstock" program or not. We update our systems daily with current lead times from suppliers and through the use of computerised tablet ordering systems endeavour to under promise and over deliver. This means that at this time CSL deliver in excess of 92% of the furniture ordered well within quoted delivery times.
